He started playing Japanese drums at age 10, and as the club captain in high school, he competed in national championships and performed overseas. In 2015, he founded “KODAMA” in his hometown of Fukui and became its representative. He has received numerous awards, including third place in the “Japan Taiko Championship” and the top prize at the “Fukui City Performance Festival.” He currently performs both within and outside the prefecture, as well as teaching at kindergartens and in his own classroom. He continues to pursue performances that are not only “cool,” but also “fun” and bring smiles to the audience’s faces.
